Dalila de Vroom is a researcher in the field of fashion. She explores alternative systems of fashion, focussing on solidarity in the process of making. The core of her research includes the search for a healthier system which no longer encloses the exploitation of people and nature. Currently, she does that by hosting the workshop ‘A Journal of a Garment’, where people knit and gossip about the fashion industry and a possible craft fashion system. Dalila aims to research attitude change from an industrial fashion system, moving towards a craft fashion system through the co-creation of a knitted item and dialogue.
